Brazilian officials bring mobile public services to communities in Manaus and Santa Cristina do Pinhal

Governor Roberto Cidade oversaw the 39th edition of the "Governo Presente" program in Manaus on 13 June. The event, held at Escola Estadual Padre Luís Ruas in the Zumbi dos Palmares neighbourhood, offered free health consultations, eye exams, dental, pediatric and gynecological services, as well as tele‑health. Authorities distributed identity documents, credit cheques from state social‑development funds, wheelchairs, bath chairs, menstrual kits, and certificates for completed courses. The governor also delivered primary producer cards and announced partnerships for professional training.

In Santa Cristina do Pinhal, the municipal government organized a "Cadastro Único Móvel" on 16 June. Hosted in front of the local health centre, the mobile unit provided updates and new registrations for the national social‑benefit database, guidance on social programmes, assistance for micro‑entrepreneurs, animal‑castration referrals, and on‑site issuance of identity cards. Mayor Gilberto Gomes highlighted the aim of bringing essential public services closer to residents in outlying areas.
