Brazilian pre‑candidates Maria do Carmo Seffair and Luanna Rezende hold local campaign visits
Maria do Carmo Seffair, PL pre‑candidate for the governorship of Amazonas, visited the municipality of Amaturá in the Alto Solimões region. She listened to residents’ complaints about lack of potable water and announced a proposed "Água para Todos" program to expand water access in interior municipalities, noting that the state’s abundant freshwater resources are hindered by poor management.
Luanna Rezende, PT pre‑candidate for the Maranhão state legislature, toured São Bento in the Baixada Maranhense. She participated in the inauguration of the Praça da Família and the Areninha do Módulo, alongside Governor Carlos Brandão, Senator Weverton Rocha, federal deputy Juscelino Filho and local officials. The event highlighted new public facilities and announced several federal‑state investments, including 50 Minha Casa, Minha Vida homes, a new ambulance, a mobile dental unit, and more than 100 computers for school labs.
