Brazilian retailers see increased Father's Day shopping intent and promotions

A survey by the CDL market information centre in Caxias do Sul found that 44.8% of consumers intend to purchase gifts for Father's Day, up 2.5 percentage points from the previous year, and the average ticket is projected at R$298.71, a 3.1% rise. The most sought‑after categories are clothing, footwear and cosmetics, while 79.2% of shoppers say they compare prices before buying and prefer paying with PIX.

In Foz do Iguaçu, the Catuaí Palladium shopping centre has launched a series of Father’s Day promotions, including up to 60% discounts on Hering apparel, a 20% cashback offer, and an upcoming "Compre e Ganhe" campaign that will reward customers with a special gift.
