In Mato Grosso’s capital Cuiabá, merchants anticipate R$85 million in sales from over 218 000 consumers, with 45.8 % planning purchases; clothing leads the category (30.1 %), followed by shoes and cosmetics. These local expectations echo earlier state‑level data that showed strong intent in Santa Catarina, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, where retailers combined discounts, limited‑edition baskets, premium hotel stays and curated dining offers.

Araguaia Shopping continues its Father’s Day “Buy and Get” campaign, now running until 10 August. Shoppers spending at least R$500 receive a free 10‑liter thermal bag (one per CPF), redeemable at a booth opposite Flavio’s. Participating brands include Nike, Adidas, Puma, Fila, O Boticário, Natura, Dolce Vita, Galo Man Barbearia and Be Grow Suplementos, reinforcing the mall’s broader strategy of bundled incentives to capture holiday demand.
