Brazilian states set IPVA deadlines and offer 8% discount for Bahia plates 7‑8

In the state of Bahia, vehicle owners whose licence plates end in 7 or 8 must pay the 2026 IPVA by June 29 and June 30 respectively to receive an 8 % discount when paying the full amount via Pix or the state portal. Payments can also be split into five installments without any discount, and the same portal lists deadlines for other plate endings.

In Goiás, the sixth IPVA installment for 2026 is due on Monday, 15 June, for all vehicle plates. Taxpayers can issue and pay the boleto or DUA through the state’s online portal, the Detran‑GO website, or the Detran GO ON app, with in‑person options at Vapt Vupt locations. The state’s fleet totals about 1.7 million vehicles. The final deadline for full payment with licensing is 15 September for plates ending 1‑2 and 15 October for all other endings.
