Brazilian towns Curuçá and Ouro Velho add new ambulances to health fleets

The municipality of Curuçá in Pará received a new ambulance for the KM 42 community, delivered by Mayor Hamilton Brito and Vice‑Mayor Vanderson Garcia. The vehicle was funded through a parliamentary amendment requested by Councilor Elias Trindade and supported by State Deputy Gustavo Sefer, aiming to improve emergency response, safety and comfort for local patients.

In Ouro Velho, Ceará, Mayor Dr. Júnior officially handed over two additional ambulances to the municipal health department. The delivery, attended by local officials and health workers, is part of the city’s effort to modernize its health network, increase capacity for urgent care and ensure faster, safer transport of patients.

Both initiatives highlight the municipalities’ focus on strengthening public health services and expanding emergency medical capabilities for their residents.
