Brazilian towns Elísio Medrado and Mossoró roll out free vocational training courses

The city council of Elísio Medrado, together with the municipal government and Formai Educação Profissional, opened registrations for a series of free professional courses. Courses target retail, administrative and health sectors, including roles such as shop attendant, receptionist, cashier, and clinical receptionist. Classes will be held at the municipal chamber on July 16‑18, with afternoon and evening sessions, and participants receive digital study materials. Certification is optional and carries a small fee.

In Mossoró, the municipal Secretary of Economic Development and Senac announced the final vacancies for a free 160‑hour receptionist course. The program runs at Senac Mossoró from July 20 to September 14, 2026, evenings from 18:00‑22:00, and prepares students for work in clinics, hotels, schools and other services. Graduates can access job listings through the Secretary’s employment panel. The initiative is funded through the Senac Free Program and aims to boost local employability.
