Brazilian towns launch major health outreach programs in Três Lagoas and Primavera do Leste

The municipality of Três Lagoas began a five‑day health mutirão on Monday, coordinating more than 13,000 specialized consultations and exams with capacity for up to 15,000 attendances. Services include endocrinology, neurology, psychiatry, orthopedics, ophthalmology, cardiology and women's health procedures such as mammography and ultrasounds, as well as spontaneous demand slots for any citizen.

In Primavera do Leste, the municipal health secretariat organized an integrated June festival for mental‑health patients, offering traditional foods, group activities, games and karaoke. The event aims to complement clinical treatment with social interaction, supporting autonomy, self‑esteem and community reintegration for users of the local mental‑health unit.
