In the state of Acre, the municipality of Assis Brasil commemorated 50 years of political emancipation. Festivities began with a sunrise musical procession by the municipal band and continued with a civic parade featuring schools and community groups. The mayor emphasized gratitude and a commitment to future development, while fireworks were omitted in compliance with state regulations prohibiting noisy pyrotechnics. The day ended with a widely reported altercation among attendees.

Both events underscored the importance of local media and municipal celebrations in fostering community identity and participation across Brazil.
