Brazilian towns roll out youth inclusion and wellness programs
The municipal Sports Department of Arapongas met with the Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Infantojuvenil (CAPS‑i) to expand para‑sport projects for children and adolescents with mental‑health and developmental disorders. The partnership aims to gradually integrate these young people into municipal sports activities, enhancing socialization and quality of life.
In Pindamonhangaba, the municipal physiotherapy team attended a lecture on human development and emotional intelligence organized by the Health Secretariat. The session emphasized self‑knowledge, emotional balance and ethical values to improve professional performance and public service quality.
Both initiatives reflect local government efforts in Brazil to strengthen health‑related inclusion and professional capacity in their communities.
