Brazilian TV and entertainment figures Bruna Nóbrega and Fátima Bernardes discuss cancer treatment journeys

Influencer Bruna Furlan de Nóbrega, 25, granddaughter of comedian Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega, posted on Instagram after her first radiotherapy session for breast cancer, saying she "came home and cried all day" and describing fatigue, anxiety about side effects and a deep sense of loneliness. She said the treatment plan includes 15 sessions and she expects to emerge changed after completing it.

Former Globo presenter Fátima Bernardes revealed she was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in December 2020, discovered during routine exams after the COVID‑19 pandemic period. She underwent surgery to remove the tumor and did not require chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Bernardes reflected on the diagnosis occurring amid personal trauma and has since returned to media projects.
