SBT debuted the new prime‑time news program "SBT Cidades" on Monday, led by journalist Rodrigo Bocardi de Moura and co‑host Érica Reis. The show aims to lift the network’s ratings in São Paulo, targeting a 5.0‑point average, but its first‑week average was only 2.64 points, reflecting the difficulty of gaining viewership in a slot traditionally dominated by telenovelas.

Record announced its Tuesday schedule, featuring a mix of news, drama and entertainment. Morning coverage includes "Fala Brasil" and "Hoje em Dia," while the evening lineup carries "Jornal da Record" followed by the telenovela "Coração de Mãe" and the series "Reis – A Decadência." The network also promotes free live streaming of its programming through the RecordPlus platform, which offers limited access without a subscription.
