Brazilian universities announce 2027 admissions and new federal status for Cefet-MG
The Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Minas Gerais (FCMMG) opened applications for its 2027 Medicine program, offering 183 full‑time seats. Candidates must register online by 17:00 GMT‑3 on 21 September 2026, pay a R$500 fee and sit for a written exam on 18 October 2026 in Belo Horizonte.
The private Unibalsas University extended its free, fully online vestibular deadline to 31 September 2026, inviting applicants to courses such as Agronomy, Accounting, Law, Nursing, Dentistry, Advertising and Psychology. Applicants may also use ENEM scores, transfer credits or enroll in a second degree.
The Federal University of Goiás (UFG) kept its 2027 vestibular open until 7 August 2026, with exams scheduled for 27 September 2026 across multiple campuses in Goiás. The fee is R$130 and the test follows the ENEM format.
The University of Santa Cruz do Sul (Unisc) announced its 2022 summer vestibular, held on 4 December 2021, with specific provisions for Medicine and other courses.
The Brazilian Senate approved project PL 5.102/2023, converting the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais (Cefet‑MG) into the Universidade Tecnológica Federal de Minas Gerais (UTFMG).
