Brazilian Universities Open Second‑Semester Enrollment Periods
The State University of Mato Grosso (Unemat) began the first registration window for second‑semester courses. Applications for standard enrollment run until July 21, with additional periods for course withdrawal and re‑enrollment open until August 21. Requests are submitted through the SIGAA system and processed by each campus’s Academic Support Supervision. Classes are scheduled to start on 10 August and conclude on 16 December.
The Open University for the Elderly (Unati) at the State University of Maringá (UEM) also opened registration for more than 40 courses aimed at learners aged 60 and over. The enrolment window closes on 29 July, and classes begin on 4 August. Prospective students must provide identification, proof of residence, and a selfie photograph. The programme, which has served about 600 seniors each semester since 2010, covers health, communication, technology, arts, and civic education.
