Brazilian universities UNINASSAU and UNAMA launch free Capacita 2026 training with over 1,200 spots

The Centro Universitário UNINASSAU in São Luís and the Universidade da Amazônia (UNAMA) in Santarém are running the Capacita 2026 project, offering free, in‑person courses to the public. UNINASSAU provides 300 seats across 19 short courses in fields such as veterinary medicine, physiotherapy, medicine, dentistry, psychology and physical education, while UNAMA makes more than 900 seats available in over 20 courses covering health, law, technology, engineering and well‑being topics.

Both institutions require participants to bring a non‑perishable food item (1 kg of food at UNINASSAU; a milk package at UNAMA) on the day of the event. Registration is handled through the universities’ own channels, and attendees may enroll in multiple courses provided schedules do not clash. The initiative aims to improve professional skills and employability for community members in a competitive job market.
