Brazilian utilities launch free energy‑efficiency caravans in Pará and Rio

Equatorial Pará held its E+ Caravana in Santarém on July 2‑3, offering free services such as registration for the social electricity tariff, debt negotiation, LED‑lamp exchanges (up to five per customer) and safety education at a community center in the Livramento neighbourhood.

Enel Distribuição Rio deployed its mobile “Nave Enel” and “Van Experience” units to Niterói, São Gonçalo, Itaboraí and Casimiro de Abreu between June 29 and July 4. The outreach provided lectures on efficient electricity use, on‑site LED‑lamp replacements (up to five per consumer) and interactive experiences using augmented‑reality and touchscreen technology to promote safe and conscious energy consumption.
