Brazil's 5G ranks highest among large nations, driving economic and tech growth

The rollout of 5G in Brazil is expected to deliver speeds up to 100 times faster than previous mobile networks, opening new possibilities for health services, transportation, entertainment and the Internet of Things. Operators have already launched 5G in several cities and are investing heavily to expand coverage, though challenges remain in building the required infrastructure and reaching remote areas.

A recent nPerf study comparing ten countries with territories larger than 1.5 million km² placed Brazil at the top for 5G performance. Vivo achieved the highest score (87.596 points), followed closely by Claro (86.608 points). Brazilian operators also appeared among the top five for 4G performance and connection reliability, while no U.S. carrier made the list. The findings highlight Brazil’s leading position in mobile network quality among large economies.
