Brazil airport VIP lounges see rebrand, expansionand new competition
Fintech Nomad operates a 24‑hour VIP lounge for its account holders in Terminal 3 of São Paulo‑Guarulhos International Airport, offering food, drinks, Wi‑Fi and ancillary services such as instant debit‑card issuance.
After ten years, the Advantage Vip Lounge network rebranded to ADVT VIP Lounge, keeping its existing amenities while updating its visual identity and digital presence.
British hospitality group Collinson completed the purchase of the remaining 50 % of the Ambaar Club joint venture, taking full ownership of the lounges at Fortaleza, Salvador, Porto Alegre, Congonhas and Viracopos airports.
Banco do Brasil opened the Casa BB lounge at Guarulhos, expanding capacity from about 310 to 410 seats and extending entry to numerous BB cards, airline partners and potentially Priority Pass members.
These moves occur amid a broader surge in Brazil’s airport lounge market, driven by rising passenger traffic and growing premium‑card programmes.
