Brazil's ANTT approves first free flow toll hike on Dutra highway

The National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) has authorized the first tariff adjustment for the electronic free flow toll system on the Presidente Dutra highway. The increase, effective as of midnight on October 23, 2026, is set at 4.44% based on the IPCA inflation index.

The adjustment applies to the express lane section between kilometers 205 and 230, connecting São Paulo, Guarulhos, and Arujá. This marks the first price revision since the system began operations in December 2025. Drivers using the express lane will see costs vary based on distance, direction, day, and time, with additional surcharges applied during peak hours.

Motorists using electronic tags receive a 5% discount, while those without tags can pay via the 'pedagiodigital.com' website or at designated physical kiosks within 30 days. Motorcycles are charged half the standard rate. Drivers utilizing only the marginal lanes are not subject to the free flow charges.
