The 20th Bahia Farm Show in Salvador concluded with a 6% rise in visitors to 172,328, a 28% increase in exhibitors to 554, and over 1,400 brands represented. The event generated R$3 million in its first auction and announced the 2027 edition dates (June 7‑12). Officials including Vice‑President Geraldo Alckmin and Bahia Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues attended, highlighting government credit programs for agricultural machinery.

Meanwhile, the Expocrato fair in Ceará is set for July 12‑19, 2026, and will feature five auctions, a new Agro Pavilion housing more than 35 companies, and an Arena Tec for technology showcases. Organizers plan partnerships with the Federal University of Cariri to support animal‑welfare research and expect the fair to boost the regional economy and create jobs.
