Brazil's Banco Inter expands Inter Prime benefits, lowers entry bar

Banco Inter announced a reconfiguration of its premium banking segment, now called Inter Prime. The bank cut the minimum investment required to join from R$250,000 to R$150,000 and added alternative pathways such as spending at least R$7,000 per month on its credit card for four consecutive months, holding a Duo Gourmet subscription, or receiving an invitation based on relationship history.

Inter Prime members receive unlimited access to the bank’s own airport lounges, six annual entries to the Priority Pass network, QR‑code entry via the app, and use of more than 1,700 partner lounges worldwide. A new Inter lounge opened at Fortaleza International Airport, joining existing facilities in Guarulhos, Confins, and Curitiba. Members also get 10 GB of free international mobile data each year, usable in over 200 countries, and continued access to the Duo Gourmet restaurant‑discount program. Additional perks include a Global Account and the Inter Florida Passport, offering benefits for travel and shopping in the United States. The changes aim to attract a broader pool of high‑value customers amid growing competition among digital and traditional banks in Brazil.
