Brazil's Bonito CineSur 2026 and Olhar de Cinema 15th edition showcase emerging films

The Bonito CineSur festival will hold its fourth edition from July 24 to August 1, 2026 in the ecotourism hub of Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul. The event features 19 films across five sections, including works that explore historic femicide, indigenous community life, urban legends, and environmental struggles.

Curitiba's Olhar de Cinema festival celebrates its 15th edition, adopting "Coming of Age" as its central theme. Running until June 13, the festival highlights the evolution of its visual identity by artist Rafael Silveira and presents a program of Brazilian and international titles such as "Futuro Futuro", "Quase Inverno", "A Holandesinha", and others that examine personal growth and identity.
