Brazil's Cecierj and Paraguay's CIEE Provide Free Online Courses

The Fundação Cecierj in Brazil has opened enrollment for its Professional Qualification program, offering 7,000 free slots across 23 distance‑learning courses such as Human Resources Management, Event Organization, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Entrepreneurship, Power BI and ESG practices. Applications are accepted online until 30 July 2026, with candidates selected by a Federal Lottery on 1 August 2026 and classes running from 4 August to 8 December 2026.

Meanwhile, Paraguay’s Centro de Integração Empresa‑Escola (CIEE) is offering 53 free online courses covering technology, languages, finance, communication and entrepreneurship. The courses are open to any registered user, provide certificates, and are developed with partners including Google, Sebrae and the Central Bank. Since its launch in 2018, the CIEE platform has registered more than 1.7 million enrollments and currently serves about 37 000 active learners. Both initiatives aim to improve employability and support workforce development in their respective labour markets.
