Enem 2026 registration deadline extended to June 12

The Ministry of Education has extended the online registration period for the 2026 National High School Exam (Enem) to 23:59 Brasília time on Friday, 12 June, after the original deadline of 5 June. Candidates must complete their enrolment through the Inep “Participant Page” using a Gov.br login. The fee remains R$ 85 for non‑exempt applicants, with payment due by 17 June via Pix, credit card, debit or boleto. fee‑exempt groups include students in the CadÚnico, low‑income families, participants in the “Pé‑de‑Meia” program and those granted exemption for justified absences.

For the first time, all public‑school graduates are pre‑registered; they only need to confirm participation, select a foreign‑language option (English or Spanish), and indicate any need for specialized assistance or the use of a social name. The 2026 edition expands accessibility, allowing requests for specialist support for conditions such as fibromyalgia, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism, visual or auditory impairments, pregnancy, diabetes, senior citizens and hospitalised students. Requests for special assistance and social‑name usage must also be submitted by 12 June, with preliminary responses expected on 26 June.

The Enem exams are scheduled for Sunday 8 and 15 November 2026, with the Inep aiming to increase test‑centres to roughly 10 000 across Brazil, encouraging most public‑school candidates to attend at their own schools to reduce travel.
