Former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro, serving a 27‑year prison‑house sentence, filed a request with Supreme Court justice Alexandre de Moraes to permit his daughter‑in‑law Fernanda Bolsonaro and their two minor grandchildren to visit him at his residence in Lago Sul, Brasília. Moraes approved the request, scheduling the visit for Saturday, 13 May, from 11:00 to 13:00, with police inspecting visitors and seizing electronic devices.

Bolsonaro has been under humanitarian house arrest since March after recovering from bacterial broncopneumonia. The 90‑day term of his house‑arrest will be reviewed on 25 June. The authorization aligns with the conditions set for his family support during the custodial period.
