Brazil's Federal District extends language course enrollment deadline to July 12

The Brasília (Federal District) government has extended the online registration period for the Centros Interescolares de Línguas (CIL) to Sunday, 12 July 2026. Applicants may register for up to four slots in English, Spanish, French or Japanese courses. The single registration window targets three groups: students from public schools in the Federal District, students from military schools, and the general community.

Selection will be conducted by an electronic lottery in three stages: the first call for public‑school students on 18 July, the second call for public‑school and military‑school students on 28 July, and the third call for community applicants on 4 August. Candidates who are drawn must complete enrollment at the CIL secretariat on the prescribed dates (20‑23 July, 29‑30 July, 5‑6 August) and present required documents such as birth certificate, CPF, photos and proof of residence.
