Brazil's Labor Courts Launch Nationwide Auctions with Discounts Up to 90%

Brazilian regional labor courts are conducting public auctions to settle labor‑related debts. The Tribunal Regional do Trabalho (TRT) of the 2nd Region in São Paulo announced two online auction sessions on 19 and 21 May, offering 165 properties, 25 vehicles and various equipment, with discounts that may reach 90 % of the assessed value. Items include apartments, houses, commercial lots across São Paulo and surrounding municipalities, as well as a Porsche Cayenne, a Harley‑Davidson motorcycle, and a piano.

A separate auction organized by the TRT of Mato Grosso will be held on 28 May and 11 June as part of the National Week of Labor Conciliation. It features 39 listings such as farms, veterinary chairs, tractors, refrigerated booths and urban and rural real‑estate, with discounts up to 50 % and optional installment payments. Bids can be placed online through the official auction platform or in person at the TRT headquarters in Cuiabá.

Both auctions aim to provide transparent, rapid disposal of assets to satisfy outstanding labor liabilities, inviting buyers nationwide to acquire goods at substantially reduced prices.
