Inep releases 2026 Encceja answer keys and Enem PPL dates

The National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) has released the official answer keys for the 2026 Encceja exams. The exams, which were administered on August 23, allow young people and adults to obtain certificates for elementary and high school completion. Participants can access the keys for various knowledge areas, including mathematics, languages, and natural sciences, via the Inep portal. Individual results are scheduled for release on December 14, 2026.

For the Encceja essay component, the themes were ‘The importance of an address as a citizen's right’ for elementary school and ‘Ways to guarantee consumer rights’ for high school. Scoring utilizes the Item Response Theory (TRI) method to ensure results reflect actual knowledge.

Additionally, Inep announced the schedule for the 2026 Enem PPL, a version of the National High School Exam specifically for individuals in the prison system or under socio-educational measures. Registration for the Enem PPL will take place from October 5 to October 23, 2026, through the pedagogical managers of the respective institutions. The exams for this group are set to be held on December 15 and 16.
