The deadline for submitting scientific articles to the Cadernos Equidade public call ends this Friday, September 11. The call is focused on Bilingual Education for the Deaf.

This initiative is organized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) through the Secretariat of Continuing Education, Youth and Adult Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion (Secadi), in partnership with UNESCO. The goal is to increase the participation of academics, researchers, teachers, managers, and deaf leaders in knowledge production to strengthen the National Policy on Bilingual Education for the Deaf (Pnebs).

Submissions must be unpublished works written in Portuguese, ranging from 35,000 to 50,000 characters including spaces. Each article can have up to three authors. To ensure a blind peer-review process, applicants must submit two files: one containing the full article with author information, and another containing only the text without identification. Approved works will be required to provide a video summary in Libras.
