Brazil's Ministry of Education holds technical meetings on National Teacher Exam

Brazil's Ministry of Education (MEC) will hold virtual technical meetings on October 21 and 22 with Courts of Accounts from across the country to discuss the National Teacher Exam (PND). The initiative is being conducted in partnership with the Education Commission of the Association of Members of the Courts of Accounts of Brazil (Atricon) and the Education Technical Committee of the Rui Barbosa Institute (IRB).

The meetings aim to provide technical support to states and municipalities regarding the use of PND results in public examinations and selection processes for teaching careers. This follows an increase in the number of educational networks interested in utilizing the assessment results for 2026.

As part of the 'Mais Professores para o Brasil' program, the MEC has been providing various support tools, including technical guides for drafting public notices, monthly collective technical meetings, and individualized assistance for specific federative entities.
