Brazil's Ministry of Education sets June 19 deadline for Sisu+ registrations and extends Enem fee payment to June 22

The Ministry of Education (MEC) announced that the complementary stage of the Unified Selection System, Sisu+, will close its registration on Friday, 19 June 2026 at 23:59 Brasília time. The first Sisu+ round involves 34 public universities and institutes offering 9,436 vacancies in 532 courses for the second semester of 2026. Candidates must have taken at least one ENEM exam in the last three years and have applied in the regular Sisu 2026 round. Applicants can select up to two courses, update socioeconomic data and view cut‑off scores on the Sisu Aluno and Sisu Vagas portals. The system ranks candidates by their highest ENEM score from 2023 onward. Those already admitted through the regular Sisu may also apply, but may accept only one vacancy.

In a related measure, the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Educational Studies (INEP) extended the deadline for payment of the ENEM 2026 registration fee to 22 June 2026. The fee is R$ 85 and can be paid by boleto, Pix, credit card or debit. Exemptions apply to students in public high schools, low‑income families, CadÚnico registrants and participants in the Pé‑de‑Meia program. ENEM exams are scheduled for 8 and 15 November 2026, with results used for university admission through Sisu, Prouni and Fies.
