Brazil's Move Brasil program offers vehicle discounts and credit for drivers and delivery workers
The federal Move Brasil program creates a R$30 billion credit line to help taxi drivers, app‑based drivers and delivery workers replace their fleets. Automakers such as Jeep, Fiat, Honda, GWM, Geely and BYD provide discounts on new cars, with the Jeep Compass Sport receiving the largest cut of about R$29,000.
A separate financing track, Move Brasil – Entregadores e Motoapp, grants credit for new, Brazil‑made bicycles, electric bikes, mopeds and motorcycles up to 160 cc or 7.5 kW. Eligible workers must have at least six months on a platform and 100 trips or deliveries. The loan runs up to 48 months with a two‑month grace period; interest rates are 11.5% per year for women and 12.5% for men. The scheme also allows manufacturers to offer direct sales discounts and includes optional insurance coverage backed by the Fundo Garantidor de Operações.
