Brazil's Prouni 2026 scholarship applications close July 10

Free applications for the Programa Universidade para Todos (Prouni) 2026 second‑semester round close at 23:59 BRT on July 10, with the deadline later extended to July 12 by the Ministry of Education. Registrations are made exclusively through the Ministry’s Portal Único/Acesso Único using a gov.br account.

The edition offers 471,304 scholarships in 380 undergraduate courses at 879 private higher‑education institutions nationwide. Of these, 219,725 are full‑tuition (integral) scholarships and 251,579 are 50 % partial scholarships. Eligibility requires participation in the 2024 or 2025 ENEM, a minimum average score of 450 points, a non‑zero essay score, and adherence to income limits (up to 1.5 minimum wages per person for full scholarships, up to 3 minimum wages for partial). Reserved quotas cover people with disabilities, Indigenous peoples, and Black or mixed‑race candidates.

State allocations include 91,699 scholarships for São Paulo, 29,300 for Paraná, 27,900 for Rio de Janeiro, 8,200 for Espírito Santo, among others. Results of the first call are scheduled for July 15, the second call for August 5, with a wait‑list period on August 26‑27 and a final result on September 1.
