Brazil's SBT marks 45th anniversary as Globo rolls out June 29 lineup

The SBT television network will celebrate its 45th anniversary throughout June with a special prime‑time block called “Sessão +SBT.” The programming will revisit classic shows from the past four decades and feature special editions of flagship productions such as “A Praça é Nossa” and “Programa Silvio Santos,” aiming to reconnect the audience with the channel’s historic catalog.

Meanwhile, Globo released its Monday, 29 June 2026 schedule. The lineup includes the morning news “Bom dia Brasil,” talk shows, extensive coverage of the World Cup, and evening flagship newscasts such as “Jornal Nacional.” The schedule reflects Globo’s dominance in Brazilian broadcasting, reaching about 100 million viewers nationwide.
