Brazil's Sisu+ 2026 Opens Over 9,000 Public University Slots
The Ministry of Education has launched the Sisu+ 2026 round to allocate more than 9,000 vacant seats in public universities across Brazil. Registrations run from June 15 to June 19, with results announced on June 24 and enrollment beginning June 25. Candidates must have taken the ENEM exam in 2023, 2024 or 2025, must not have scored zero on the essay, and must have participated in the regular Sisu process earlier in the year.
Over 30 federal universities and institutes are offering places in a wide range of courses, but seven high‑demand programs – Biomedicine, Cinema and Audiovisual, Aeronautical Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Psychology and Advertising – have no vacancies available in this complementary stage. Applicants can select up to two courses and, if not selected, may join a waiting list between June 24 and June 26, with possible calls starting July 1.
