Brazilian states launch mobile units for free civic services

From 15 to 20 June, São Lourenço da Serra in São Paulo will host the Poupatempo Móvel at Praça Santo Antônio, offering residents free issuance of the National Identity Card, background checks, driver’s license renewals, second‑copy documents and other civil‑registry services.

On 13‑14 June, Divinópolis in Minas Gerais will hold the Praça de Serviços – Governo Presente at Praça da Catedral, providing free citizenship assistance, health vaccinations, animal castration, social‑assistance guidance, employment links and document regularisation. Both initiatives are part of broader state programmes aimed at bringing government services directly to communities, reducing the need for citizens to travel to distant offices and expanding access to essential public services across Brazil.
