Flávio Bolsonaro visits father as Brazil election intensifies

As Brazil approaches the second round of the presidential election on October 25, several key developments have emerged involving candidates Flávio Bolsonaro and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, who leads several recent polls, has resumed visiting his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro, following the expiration of a 90-day judicial ban imposed by Justice Alexandre de Moraes. Flávio expressed optimism regarding the first-round results and stated he intends to pardon his father if elected. Additionally, Flávio has shifted his stance to support ending the 6x1 work schedule in the Senate.

The MDB party has shown significant internal division; 17 state directorates have declared support for Flávio Bolsonaro, while 10 directorates support Lula's reelection.

Simultaneously, the Lula campaign has filed a complaint with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) against Meta. The campaign alleges that Meta's artificial intelligence tools exhibit algorithmic bias by restricting content related to 'Lula 13' while allowing the generation of materials for 'Flávio 22'.
