BRB DUX Visa Infinite fee rises to R$4,800 with stricter spending and credit limits

Brazil's BRB DUX Visa Infinite card will see its annual fee increase from R$1,680 to R$4,800, making it one of the most expensive premium cards in the market. The fee exemption threshold is also tightened, requiring monthly spending of at least R$50,000, up from the previous R$35,000. In addition, the minimum credit limit for new issuances is raised to R$80,000, and the required investment with the bank remains at R$300,000. These changes apply to all DUX family products, including the Eurobike, CASACOR, and FLA variants. The adjustments target high‑income clients and are expected to prompt many existing cardholders to reassess their choice as they compare alternative premium cards that may offer lower fees or different eligibility criteria.

Industry observers note that the premium card segment in Brazil is becoming increasingly competitive, with banks adding benefits such as unlimited lounge access and enhanced loyalty programs while also revising cost structures.
