Bárbara Bandeira pays for missing €10,000 necklace in Portugal

Portuguese singer Bárbara Bandeira spent part of her own money to cover the cost of a gold and diamond necklace valued at over €10,000 that vanished after she wore it at a promotional event in March 2025. She reported the theft to the Lisbon Police (PSP) on 16 April 2025, stating the necklace was stolen along with three credit cards; the complaint was later archived by the Public Ministry.

The incident is linked to other high‑value jewelry disappearances investigated by the same police unit, including a necklace and earrings worth more than €85,000 worn by Maria Petronilho on the final of RTP’s “The Voice”. Stylist Raquel Guerreiro, who supplied the pieces, denies involvement and has blamed transport workers, while jeweler Maria Baptista claims she was deceived by the stylist and her assistant and has filed a complaint against them. The cases are being examined by the Polícia de Segurança Pública in Lisbon under the Department of Investigation and Prosecution (DIAP) of the Public Ministry.
