Breast cancer patients in Brazil report lack of clear information
A survey conducted by Datafolha reveals that one in three women diagnosed with breast cancer in Brazil reported a lack of clear information regarding their exams and treatments. Specifically, 36% of participants felt there was insufficient clarity in communication, while 33% identified a need for more information throughout their medical journey.
Research indicates that 62% of respondents believe clear, high-quality content helps them understand disease progression and recovery prospects. Luciana Holtz, president of the Oncoguia Institute, emphasized that useful information must accompany patients at every stage to allow them to participate actively in decisions regarding their care.
