Breeze Airways shifts to Airbus fleet as TSA launches PreCheck pilot
Breeze Airways has completed its transition to an all-Airbus A220-300 fleet following the retirement of its final Embraer 190 aircraft. The airline has taken delivery of 55 of its 90 ordered Airbus A220-300s, utilizing the fuel-efficient aircraft to support its business model of connecting underserved cities.
Separately, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has launched the ‘Gateside by TSA PreCheck’ pilot program. This initiative allows eligible TSA PreCheck members to apply for complimentary access to secure, post-security areas at 13 participating U.S. airports without a boarding pass. The program enables visitors to meet arriving passengers or spend time in terminals during layovers.
Additionally, Thompson Hotels is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a promotion for World of Hyatt members. Registered members booking through the World of Hyatt mobile app can earn double bonus points on eligible stays between September 8th and November 10th.
