Brendan Allen submits Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC Vegas 122

Brendan Allen defeated Christian Leroy Duncan via fifth-round rear-naked choke at UFC Vegas 122 to extend his winning streak to four fights. The victory moves the American fighter closer to middleweight title contention.

Despite Duncan landing more significant strikes throughout the bout, Allen controlled much of the grappling. A point deduction for an eye poke in the second round forced Duncan to seek a finish in the final frame, but Allen ultimately secured the submission. Following the win, Allen criticized Dricus du Plessis, claiming the fighter has engaged in “all talk” and expressing frustration over previously unfulfilled negotiations to fight him.
