Brighton coach hopes Femi Azeez recovers for Coventry match

Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Fabian Hurzeler expressed optimism regarding winger Femi Azeez's availability for the upcoming match against Coventry City. Azeez, who joined the club from Millwall on transfer deadline day, has seen his debut delayed due to a minor injury.

Hurzeler noted that the club will assess the 25-year-old over the weekend to determine if he can participate in the trip to face Frank Lampard’s Coventry side. The former Reading player was named to the PFA Championship Team of the Season last year.

In addition to the injury update, Hurzeler praised Azeez's versatility, noting his ability to score with both feet and his strong decision-making in the final third. The coach also emphasized the importance of integrating several new signings to build a cohesive team unit following a busy transfer window.
