Brighton signs Femi Azeez from Millwall in record £15m deal
Brighton & Hove Albion has reached a club-record agreement to sign Nigerian international winger Femi Azeez from Millwall on transfer deadline day. The deal is valued at more than £15 million, consisting of an initial £12.5 million payment plus performance-related add-ons.
Azeez, 25, is expected to sign a four-year contract at the Amex Stadium with an option for an additional year. The transfer marks a significant financial success for Millwall, who acquired the winger from Reading in 2024 for approximately £1 million.
The winger’s recent form includes 11 goals and eight assists during the 2025-26 Championship season, earning him a place in the PFA Championship Team of the Year. Azeez has also recently made an impact with the Nigerian national team, scoring twice in a Unity Cup victory over Zimbabwe.
