Italian law enforcement sees multiple leadership changes

Several leadership changes have occurred within Italian law enforcement agencies across various provinces.

In Treviso, Colonel Gianmarco Pugliese has assumed command of the Carabinieri, focusing on territory presence and combating predatory crimes, scams, and baby gangs. In Piacenza, Colonel Paolo Leoncini has taken over the Carabinieri provincial command from Colonel Pierantonio Breda, emphasizing community proximity and institutional synergy.

In Brindisi, Colonel Leonardo Acquaro is stepping down after four years, during which he oversaw major investigations and the G7 summit. He will be succeeded by Colonel Agostino Scala. Meanwhile, in Foggia, Colonel Paolo Iannucci has left his post at the Dia operational section due to age limits, following six years of service.

In Cividale del Friuli, Commissioner Giulia Petrei has been appointed as the new head of the Public Security Commissariat, meeting with Mayor Attilio Vuga to discuss urban security and institutional collaboration.
