Rimini exhibition center expansion gains support from business groups

Economic organizations in Rimini are expressing strong support for the expansion of the Rimini exhibition center, specifically the proposed construction of a large-scale arena. Confindustria Romagna, Legacoop, Confcommercio, and Confartigianato Imprese Rimini have all voiced approval, viewing the project as a vital tool for economic development and the destatization of the local tourism industry.

While the expansion is welcomed, Confartigianato Imprese Rimini and other stakeholders emphasize that the growth must be supported by adequate infrastructure. Key requirements include improved railway connections, more effective public transport, enhanced road networks, and the potential addition of a third highway exit in the exhibition area to mitigate traffic congestion during major events.
