BRI's LinkUMKM platform serves 16.46 million Indonesian micro‑businesses
Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) reports that its LinkUMKM digital platform has been used by 16.46 million micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia up to April 2026. The service provides six core features – UMKM Smart, Rumah BUMN, UMKM Media, Community, Digital Showroom and a register for business identification numbers (NIB) – and more than 690 training modules covering technical and non‑technical skills. Director of Micro BRI, Akhmad Purwakajaya, said the platform aims to improve market information access, business administration and capacity building, enabling entrepreneurs to “move up the class ladder.” Users such as Shinta Paramarti of KainIndonesia.co cite the platform’s training, expert consultations and weekly events as key to expanding their product distribution from local markets to export channels.
