Bristol Motor Speedway to host NASCAR Cup Series weekend

Bristol Motor Speedway is set to host a NASCAR weekend featuring the Cup Series, O’Reilly Series, Truck Series, and the ARCA Menards Series. The event includes a high-profile entry list for the Cup Series, featuring drivers such as Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, and Chase Elliott.

Drivers face significant mental and physical challenges on the .533-mile oval, which features banking between 24 and 28 degrees. Cody Ware of Rick Ware Racing described the 500-lap event as “chaos,” noting that success requires intense focus and the ability to adapt to changing track conditions and tire wear. Former driver Kyle Petty compared the experience of racing at the track to “flying a jet fighter in a gymnasium.”
