British Columbia Conservatives Retain Shadow Cabinet Positions Under New Leader

New opposition leader Kerry‑Lynne Findlay announced a reshuffle of the British Columbia Conservative Party's shadow cabinet, keeping many existing critics in place. Langley MLAs Harman Bhangu and Misty Van Popta remain critics for Transportation and Infrastructure respectively, while spouse Brent Chapman was added as critic for Arts, Culture and AI. Other retained roles include Larry Neufeld on Energy, Anna Kindy on Healthcare, Gavin Dew on Economic Development, Ward Stamer on Forestry, Lynne Block on Education and Peter Milobar on Finance.

In the Central Okanagan, MLAs Kristina Loewen, Gavin Dew and Macklin McCall also kept their critic assignments, with Loewen staying on Prosperity and Social Development, Dew on Economic Development, and McCall moving to Official Opposition Whip. The reshuffle aims to present a unified front ahead of the next provincial election.
