Brixen hosts bike festa Südtirol cycling festival

The bike festa Südtirol in Brixen combines high-tech cycling exhibitions with regional culture and art. The event features an Expo area and an Innovation Gallery where manufacturers present new components and equipment. Participants can test various bicycle models on designated routes around Brixen, with tour planning supported by Komoot collections.

Guided rides are organized around regional themes, such as the gravel-focused ‘Ride for Strudel’ and the ‘Apfel & Aroma’ excursion highlighting local agriculture. For more demanding riders, the Plose E-MTB Ride Out offers enduro testing on challenging trails.

The festival also integrates creative and social elements, including the ‘Art Corner’ with workshops led by artist Jule Borths and bicycle trip planning sessions by Cyclebee. Additionally, the event collaborates with World Bicycle Relief to address the global importance of mobility.
